Merchandise design for Itoigawa — a city in Japan known for its geological richness and jade deposits. Created as part of my graphic design course.
Responsibilities
Designed a graphic and pattern for city merch, inspired by native Itoigawa jadeite and the visual structure of a geological map — reinterpreted into a simplified, wearable design. Applied across branded items.
Challenges
Translating geological and natural references into something clean and wearable — specific enough to feel local, simple enough to work on physical objects.
